Help please - confused about pain

Hi guys,

Ive had this ache in my stomach for about a week. It sometimes feels like bad stitch but also feels like an ache/tightneSs around my port. I went to the doctor on Wednesday and had x rays, which showed nothing obviously abnormal. Also was checked for hernias etc. I have no symptoms other than this aching. Has anyone had anythin like this before??? I'd really appreciate any advice, I'm really worried. Thanks!

I too am struggling w/a gnawing in left abdomen. No nausea but feel bloated. Appt w/surgeon last week & he did a regular x ray. The band was in the right position. He said i was too tight so he removed some. He doesn't tell anyone how much. I did feel better in a few days but now hurting again & i can feel the band more than ever. Will make another appt. BTW I was banded in 2007. Lost 70 lbs & have gained 20. He wasn't happy w/me either. Now I am worried. Hoping I get in soon. Hope your problem will resolve itself. Keep me posted on what happens w/you.

Well... it may not be much help to you, but my port area is always sore, and quite often feels bruised and achy. The PA at my WL practice thinks it's because my port is so close to my rib cage that I'm constantly bumping and irritating it. Sometimes I'll bend the wrong way and pull it and holy moly, that is BAD pain. It'll get worse for a couple of days, then go back to that almost constant ache.
