sometimes i can eat, I have no fill in right now but haven't been able to eat, except last night ate a huge hamburger and onion rings which took 2hrs to eat, then today got some fish for lunch and couldn't get a bit down, happens alot when i go out to eat, i always get ranch or sour cream to mush my food in it. you might need a bit more of a fill to lose more weight, i go back to water when i can't eat cold ice water to help the tummy swelling. hope that helps

thanks for responding but if i get more of a fill than i won't be able 2 keep anything down. i don't eat much now sometimes i think the reason i am not loosing is because i don't get enough in me plus i just hd surgery lst wk for a female prob so i cnt exercise for 6 wks

well sometimes you go through a stand still with weight loss, my total weight loss was 150lbs but i put back on 40lbs and that was with my fill at 1.9cc i go up too 3.0cc, the year that i lost all my weight and got into a size 2 was this past year and i didn't get a fill for a year and stayed that way with eating very little. and i don't exercise

Well....you may have just given yourself your answer. If you don't think your getting enough food in now, you made need a slight unfil. Very slight unfills or fills can sometimes be the "sweetspot" we all need.

I will tell you with my band I needed to "recheck" myself about the rules when I was pbing more than a few times a week. Was I really chewing EVERYTHING to mush? Was I eating really truely slowly? Was I measuring or eyeballing the proper amount & taking that full 25 to 30 mins to eat? Was I not drinking right before & after? Am I doing SOLID Proteins first than vegs than fruit than carbs if at all? Am I working with my band or against my band??????

These are important rules has I am sure you already know not just for weight loss but for our safety of the band. As long has your able to eat something right now & are not in danger of anything. I would double check everything your doing & give yourself another 10 days & see what happens. Since your not able to exercise like you used too than try something very small if possible. Mabye just small arm lifts while sitted or lifting your leg while sitted. I don't know what your personal limitations are but I would venture to guess you can do some form of activity. Remember anything at all that gets your body moving will be better than nothing at all. I sure hope that this was helpful & I am very sorry you had to have surgery this past month. Feel better & heal well. :0)

sometimes i think the reason i am not loosing is because i don't get enough in me

perhaps the smallest unfill will help. Just .1 or .2cc can make a big difference! Call your doc! You should not have this much trouble eating healthy foods in healthy portions. The band isn't meant to be surgical bulemia. And the best thing to do to boost your metabolism is to go a few days with extra claories, then back down again. You can't do this if you are too tight! Call your doc.

And remember, 4-6 weeks after any surgery is healing time, not weight loss time. Keep reaching for Protein & give yourself time!

(I'm not banded yet, so can't speak to the fill / unfill. :))
