Type 1 Diabetic

Hello Everyone. I am a Type 1 Diabetic and was just curious how other Type 1's did after surgery with regards to their insulin. I know my long-acting insulin will have to be decreased after surgery but did you find you had a lot of low's until it finally was adjusted to the amount of food your body is currently intaking?? I'm just a little nervous about it because low's are the worst!!!!
