Anyone using GNC total lean shake?

I am being banded on 8-4-11 and start my liquid diet on 7-30-11. I went to GNC today and bought the lean shake. I thought I would try a few recepies now so when my pre-op week came I would know what I like to make that week easier. My question is.......how far in advance can I mix the shake? Because of my job, it would be more convienient if I could pre make 2-3 days. Anyone have an info?

I'm not sure about how long they will last once you mix them. They may separate, I use Lean shake w/25g of protien and I really like them. However I would suggest you buy one of the shakers that they have, they are really easy to make it right when you are ready to have them. Unless you are adding fruit they work really well, I even use greek yogurt in place of milk and it mixes it just fine.

So I answered my own question. I made 1/2 a cup of mix today before I went to work and pu tit in the fridge. It was so thick that I could not dring it within the hr.

I buy the pre-made Total Lean so I can just grab one and go. They are more expensive but it's worth the convenience for me, plus I but them the first week of the month when GNC members get 20% off. I have been know to put them in the blender with ice and top off with a dollop of light cool whip. Tastes like a chocolate shake!
