I have 2 Blood Disorders (Factor V & Prothrombin 2021 Mutation), have had many numerous blood clots in both my legs, lungs, and heart, it is definitely a big under taking and making sure they can keep you having a regular PT-INR before and mainly after surgery. You will definitely need to have your surgeon and hematologist team up and work out your lovenox schedule, pre and post op. It is absolutely possible, but you need good/caring docs to get you through it. Good Luck & I hope it works out for you!

I had a blood clot a couple years ago, because of this I will actually have to give myself Lovenox for 10-14 days after surgery which I will have on Thursday. Shouldn't be a problem my dear :-) Your surgeon will monitor you and adjust doses if necessary.
