Last night I had a quick stomach bug .. started approx. 4pm was over by midnight. 1st time I have vomited since my surgery that wasn't food/band related. Severe dry heaves and nothing coming up. I asume thats because nothing was in the top portion of my pouch and it's not easy to get anything up that small opening. Very frustrating as I thought I would feel better if I could vomit but nothing. The force of dry heaves was pretty amaxing frankly. Slept the night and planned a day of bland food.. started with saltines for breakfast enough to not take my meds on an empty stomach. Proceeded to burp saltines and water for a while but survived. Lunch I did a cottage cheese .. again burped cottage cheese for a bit but not vomiting. Around 4pm I had an instant oatmeal again, same thing. I cant say anything made me sick but reflux like for a bit after everything. I take protonix twice a day anyway for GERD. How long do I wait before I feel this is no longer a bit of a bug and not a issue with the band? And if by chance its a slipped band is it gonna hurt to wait until Tuesday when the doc is open to do something about it? I plan to call Tuesday if this conts. thru the weekend.
