Hello! I have researched LapBand surgery for about a year. I just met with my surgeon last week. I am now in the process of getting everything I need done, bloodwork, nutritionist, etc. I would love to have a buddy along the way:) I am married with a 10 year old daughter. My goal is to have surgery this summer, but not sure that it will happen that fast.

I wanted someone to talk with along the journey. I have already decided to have the surgery. I am in the process of doing everything my insurance/ physician requires. So, I am not quite sure what you are talking about?

Do you have a date for your surgery yet? Its a big step but I bet you can't wait to get started.

I'm only a few months ahead of you as I had my OP on the 15th March. My weight loss is slow but i've only just had my first fill and know it will be a long journey, one i'm up for though.
