Hello everyone.

I was formerly on a different forum site asking for assistance in finding bariatric surgeons in the Jacksonville FL area. I have talked with Dr. Baptista's office and they recently tripled their rates. I am self pay have had the band for 3 years. When I stated on my last forum about Dr. Baptista's rate increase I was brutally attacked in the forums, harassed, called awful names, accused of things I never thought possible etc.

I was having some complications recently after being 3 years post op and went to the ER as recently as last night where because I can eat and drink they refused to do anything but tell me to find a Dr. I am more than willing to go more into my situation but would rather do so privately as previously I was ridiculed and would like to prevent that.

So far the only Dr.s I have heard great things about are Baptista (who I can't afford) and Cywes (which I am waiting to hear back from the program coordinator). If anyone else could offer some words of wisdom regarding their surgeon; I have a list of phone numbers I can easily cold call but I feel personal experiences from other patients are MUCH more helpful.

Be careful on this one, folks. She has been outed on OH using several names, being her own boyfriend, attacking those who are VERY helpful and deactivting and coming back insisting she is someone else, but making a few sloppy mistakes that inform us otherwise. Here's ONE of the threads....link

Some of the OH old timers were less than welcoming as they remembered CheriGate...the "Princess of Poor Pitiful" who ended up incarcerated for hustling helpful folks out of cold hard cash.

Ok, now this is getting ridiculous. I need help and considering you OHer's were too busy comparing me to someone I don't know, accusing me of so many things I can't even keep up, I gave up and left. Now I supposedly have multiple names? Really? I left OH because I was attacked, humiliated, belittled, and called names by repeated people YESTERDAY, I have no desire to continue being beaten on hence coming to entirely different board asking for the same exact help. What you are doing right now is stalking me and I am sick of it. I am sick of sitting here not responding, keeping my mouth shut and being repeatably harassed. I have reported every single email (pm) and I reported this. I am leaving people alone and frankly just need a little help on physicians in a city I am fairly new to. I am sure there are laws against this type of behavior. It's sad I need some help and can't get it because of the amount of drama you people are making up please grow up and leave me alone.

If anyone knows a forum I won't be harassed repeatably on please let me know. I give up here and OH. I obviously can't ask for advice on bariatric surgeons without being attacked. GeezerSue I have no idea what your screen name is on OH I know it's not the same as what you are using here; but I kept pretty much the same one between both forums so I really do not know how I would have followed you but can easily see how you followed me.

Longevity on this forum or any other does not mean you can bully people and are automatically reigned Queen Supreme of all Lap Band forums. If this was not a health related issue I would ignore it 100% but I need help. Those willing please PM I don't want to deal with this drama but I also do not feel it is fair to have to go without the little bit of advice I have asked for and by helping me you will be harassed same as those on OH were.
