What size band do you have?

I have read lots and lots about your fill stories and wonder how they determine which band to use on whom? I heard it is based on your stomach size and also wonder what weight loss goal you all have based on your size.

My band is a 4cc.

I have an 10 cc band. I was 360 on surgery day. I have great restriction now and battling eating just because. I lost 5 pounds this week after a gain while on vacation. I actually followed the rules and worked out for 3 days so far this week. I know if I continue to follow the rules I will be much further along than I am now. My goal has changed from 199 to 220 to 240 range. Good luck!

I didn't know there was a 4cc band! Mine is 10cc's and is filled with 5.5cc's.

I have a 14cc band. I was just banded 2 1/2 weeks ago and have 0 fill as of yet. I confirmed none is put in at surgery and I go in for my first fill on April 18. I carry my weight in my stomach and I suspect that is why it is the larger one.

I have a 4cc band. It has worked great for me. I just went in on Mon and had my first fluro fill done. He pulled 3 and a half out ( i was able to eat pretty much anything). He put all that plus half a cc in so now I'm sitting at a 4. He had me drink the baruim and said my band and port looked great. Well here I am a week out and still able to eat pretty well, I told him i couldn't go over 4cc's and he told me that they was able to be played with and can hold more. I'm alil nervous on this, I mean I am filling alil fuller then I was before. I just don't understand what I'm goin to do in another year when I go get another fill and still have 4 cc's in and able to eat the whole house? LOL Oh yea I had the 3 and half in for alil over a year!

Why such a small band? I had 5cc's in my 10cc band an hour after surgery. I don't even remember them doing it. It was before I woke up. I felt some restriction with the 5cc's but got another .5cc's last week at my first fill.

I have a 14cc band,,am filled to 6ccs right now and am feeling pretty good restriction, weight loss is finally kicking back into gear.

I have an 11cc band with 6cc in it. I go next week for another fill. Before baby I had 8.5ccs in my band.

I have a 10cc band that is filled to 7.75

I started out at 243, and I am currently at 188. My goal is to get to 160 by my 40th birthday, and wedding in October.

Your band can always fit more than the size of it. So my 10cc band can go up to at least 10.5 or 11ccs.

I have a 10 cc band and as of last week 4/1/11 I have 6.5 cc. Feeling ggod restriciton, but think it could have about .5 cc more to reach green zone
