After Surgery Pain

Do not want to discourage anyone, but I am in so much pain.

Surgery was yesterday. Gas pains and stomache pains are horrible.

And a little nausea too.

Doctor and friends were totally pouring sugar on the details.

I know it feels bad, but in a couple days you will fee much better...just walk, walk, walk and sip, sip, sip! You will one day look back and say it was so worth it! I am 1 lb from my 100lb loss!.

Good luck!

I have same issues with pain, I had surgery on march 23rd, and my port site has been pretty tender and feels hard, but other then that it is not bad at all, finally got rid of tons of gas this am and boy dies that help..im hoping by tomorrow ill feel much better, im so gald i decided to do it, no matter how much pain i have to go throu..I hope ur pain goes away soon :(

The first few days were REALLY rough. I was banded on 3/16 I would say day 8 and 9 have been my best. I also had a hernia repair. Take your pain meds as prescribed, drink all water @ room temp (helps w/ gas) walk, walk, walk,.....my port site still is very tender. You will get a little bit better each day. Hope you feel better soon.

I do feel better this morning. I have no regrets about having it done. Just did not realize this would hurt so darn bad.

I have had surgery before but it was lower. Still have a wave of pain that starts at my belly button and ends at my shoulders.

I pray that I do not slip my band with getting sick.

Can not wait til my "skinny" jeans become my fat jeans.

Now, my hubby took off til Tuesday. So between you, me and everyone else on this site.....I will milk it for another day.

Shhhhhhuuuuuusssshhhhh! Please?
