Need encouragement to get back on track

I have been banded for 18 months and I am so close to goal but the holidays came and I just stopped watching what i ate and started eating until it is uncomfortable. I know what foods I can cheat with and boy have I cheated. I have only gained 2 pounds back but I need to see the light again and get back on track. I can not find the motivation I once had when I started this journey. Thanks for listening!

Like you, I know what foods I can cheat with. My solution--ditch them! I don't keep them in the house and I try to stay far away from them when I go out. I log my foods faithfully. I had problems right after Christmas but now I am slowly losing weight again. I know it's hard but you can do it! Look how far you've come and remember, you're already a winner!

Like RSilversea. I just can't have them in the house...not even crunchy cereal!!!!...It is hard but you can do it...just maintaining your wt like you did is a wonderful thing!!! What about treating yourself to a personal trainer for a few weeks? That is incredibly motivating....!

Best wishes,

Mimi
