I am new to this whole process. I got banded on February 11th. My question is how big of bites should I be taking and how long should I be waitig between bites. My doctor told me to take dime sized bites and wait 40 seconds to take another one. I am doing that but it is taking me so long to eat.

First of all, you need to do what your doctor is telling you to do. I'm focusing on chewing 30 times and putting spoon down in between. I was a fast eater so this is a big challenge for me.

I presently have no restriction so things are going pretty easily as far as food goes. However, I am still "dieting" and watching/tracking everything I eat. The things I love have pretty much left my life.

I was banded the same day as you! Tomorrow is our one month anniversary.
