Hi, I am a fairly new bandster and it is taking me a while to catch on to all of the lingo. But I can't figure out "Onederland" I see it alot on this site, but...???

Then there is "sweetspot" I think I got that one figured out, but how do you know when your there. My surgeon told me I would feel like I felt the first week after surgery, no appetite or desire to eat. I am not there yet. Is that how the sweet spot feels?

Hi Devin, I'm a new bandster too. Banded on 2/17/11. Onederland is when your weight is in the 100's. I'm not sure what the sweetspot is? Please do tell. lol Hope all is well!

I am told that the sweetspot is when your band is filled to the perfect spot for you. Only thing is i don't know how to know when I am there.

Banded on Feb 17th. WOW...you are brand new. Hows it going? I was banded on Nov 9th 2010, and I remember how painful those first two weeks were. Especially at the port site. I am 4 months in now and although its been a struggle to learn how to manage my band and eat properly with it, it is still the best decision I ever made. Started at 304 pounds, scale said 240 this morning . I wish you the best as you start this wonderful new life as a bandster!!!

Onederland is when you're under 200lbs; ie 199. 1 instead of 2

Onderland is when you get below 200! And your sweet spot is the spot where your losing weight pretty continous - its the perfect fill !!!
