Protein drink quantity

I'm supposed to be drinking 1oz per 15 mins which means 4oz in an hour why the heck should I take 5 hours to finish one 20oz ISOPURE I'm drinking it in more like one to two hours. Is this ok? FYI I'm two days post op

I am only 7 weeks post-op so am no expert, but I have found that all of the "rules" are really just guidelines and you have to tweak them to your body and lifestyle. I do what makes me comfortable and happy while using the "rules" at a guide.

Good luck! There is definitely a learning curve to this and you have to find what works for you and makes you successful. biggrin.gif

Yeah the biggest thing you dont wanna do is gulp, you dont want all that air and excess liquid on your swollen stomach. As long as you are drinking slow you are fine

thanks I take fairly small sips and never had much of a problem. I'm still waiting for this darn gas to leave a little left today but I'd love for the rest to disappear. I've walked like crazy so i've never really experienced any of the uncomfortable pain others described.
