overwhelming

hi my name is tara, i am 25, i have 2 beautiful kiddies, a boy 7 and a girl 5, i got banded on the 7th of december 2010, and even though this is probably been the best thing i have done for my self in a very long time i still find it very overwhelming, i was just wondering how do you all deal with it all???

Tara, you're totally right. Getting a lap-band has a lot of parts to it that are very overwhelming. Honestly, I think the best thing to do for EVERYBODY is to get involved in a support group. There are so many things that I had trouble with in the beginning, and even now, that I count on my lap-band friends for. Also, get involved in an exercise group. They will keep you accountable.
