Beef Jerky

Hi all, I need some clarification.... I read somewhere about dry tough meats are likely to get stuck, then I read post about beef jerky being a great high protein snack... Now I make a very mean jerky and would love to hear that I'll be able to have it after I get my band.. Any input is greatly appreciated!!!

I eat beef jerky, I have to chew it to death but I don't have a problem with it. But everyone is different, you won't know how you can handle it until you try it for yourself. My doctor actually recommended it for when I'm craving something salty like chips.
