THey just weigh you...give you instructions about your post-op diet and what you should do if certain problems arise...how do take care of the staples, etc... You'll talk to your Dr. and he'll go over the whole thing about surgery day..what exactly is gonna happen..at that time you can ask him any questions you have. If you think you're gonna have questions, write them down so you can take them with you so you don't forget to ask something. Then you should prolly be meeting with the nutritionist so you guys can go over your post op diet and ask her any questions you have.

Just had my pre op today. It went well. I had a little index card of questions and the surgeon was great about answering each one.

It makes you realize how close you are now. Everyone wishing you well in the waitng room, etc.

I just picked up my optifast today. I'm starting to freak out a little bit. Keep worrying about blood pressure. Keep telling myself I will be fine. Yikes it is so close! Good luck to you just plain tired.
