Hi there. I've had my band for just over 2 yrs. now and have consistently lost weight - A LOT of weight. Anyhow, I've not changed my diet or started /ended anything that I've been doing throughout this whole journey, but I've been in a holding pattern for about a month and a half now. Also (over the past few weeks) I've gained 5 - 7lbs. I know that's not a lot, but I've NEVER gained with my band.
Anyway, I figured that if I added more Protein to my diet and decided to focus on that, then my loss would start back up, but so far it's been a no go. I'm fluctuating between 5 & 7 lbs. above where I was stalled. I'm worried because I know I've lost a ton of weight already, but I still have a long way to go and I'm starting to get discouraged.
So, I'm wondering, does anyone have any suggestions on how to get past a stall/plateau??? I follow a low/good carb diet and do not eat rice, Pasta, potatoes or bread. Any advice would be greatly appreciated
Thanks in advance. I know I'm gonna get some wonderful answers
