My wife had the lapbad surgery done a year ago and this is the first time she has gotten sick. We think it is the flu but I am curiouis if there are certain kinds of over the counter medicine she can take to help with her fevor?

She can take any over the counter liquid medication. If she has a fever, Tylenol liquid works well. If she is throwing up, she needs to call the surgeon right away. They may have her come in to take the Fluid out of her band to prevent band slippage or make some other recommendation. Hope she feels better soon!
