BLUE CROSS BLUE SHIELD - NC???

Does anyone have BCBS-NC? I am currently trying to take steps for the lap band surgery. I have already signed up for a seminar in January but I am really concerned about the insurance. Can anyone help me? I called the insurance company and they told me to go on their website. SO I didnt get much help.

I had the Lap Band done in Feb, 2010 and have BCBS of NC, the Blue Options. I basically had to pay enough to reach my yearly cap, which was a total of $3,000.00. This was not all at once. I paid 20% of things like my endoscopies, EKGs, surgeon's fees, etc. and the end bill was at the hospital itself. Hope this helps!
