How long does the port pain normally last?

I had my surgery October 25, 2010. My port is still very sore. When I stand it hurts. When I wear jeans, it hurts. How long till it heals?:blushing:

    Mine took almost 6 weeks and I still have twinges of pain. But, there's nothing wrong. Everyone has checked. And, it's more common than you think. It will get better. Some of us have a harder time with the port than others.

    I had mine 10/26 and mine still hurts as well. Especially when I lean against something or one of my kids jumps in my lap. The Dr told me it was a normal thing and it will eventually go away.
