Hey everyone,

I have been banded now just over a year. Need to go back in for a fill, however I am very disenchanted with my doctor and would like to go to someone else. Today I call a doctor not too far from my home and asked if they would see me. They girl asked where I had the surgery and I told her Top Surgeon in Beverly Hills. She then told me their doctor would not see any patients from Top Surgeon. And she suggested that I just go back to them. Okay, what?

I have been given the run-around from this place (Top Surgeons) pretty much since the get-go. I should have went somewhere else to begin with, but then my insurance approved me and I went ahead with it. I haven't had any problems medically at all. I'm just so tired of the incompetence of the office staff and their insurance billing practices should be illegal if they're not already.

Anyone else out there have this same problem? Where did you go? I live in the inland empire of Southern CA.:thumbup:

I had my surgery in Texas and then moved to Los Angeles. I decided to go with fillcenters USA as I move frequently and each and every doctor was going to charge a crazy "initial visit" fee. So I figured I'd pay fillcenters initial fee and then if I move I won't have to pay that again.

I've been to a Dr. in Huntington Beach and I just recently went to Apple Valley to a Dr. Smith because they were offering free fluroscopy.

So there are places available just a bit of a drive.
