are you still losing

Had my surgery 18 months ago. Anyone else that far out? Are you still losing, how often do you have fills? Do you still feel restriction when you eat?

I am 2 years out and struggling through maintenance, trying to keep my wt balanced within 3 pounds.....hard work. I have been having more unfills than fills, because of extreme reflux. I have restriction most of the time. I had a low profile port installed a week ago and the leftover fluid went from the now smaller port up to the band and caused a small overfill. Hopefully I am on the mend and won't have reflux/vomiting tonight.

I'm 2.5 years out and I'm not sure if I'm still losing or not. I've been kind of plateaued for the last month or so. That's happened before and I really don't worry about it. I would be quite happy if I can just maintain this loss. Also, like Mimi, plenty of restriction. I've had small unfills this year and I'm now at a great place with my band. I can eat solid foods and I rarely get stuck, but I can't eat more than a cup. It's not as much restriction as some people want, but I'm happy.

my "unfills" are because of reflux too. I am doing the same pre-op liquid diet for a week to try to get back on track. I would like to lose about 25 - 30 more and get off my blood pressure meds. I had started a very bad habit of drinking a little water when I was eating, it seemed to help with the reflux during the day but I know I shouldn't be doing it.

I'm almost two years out, and I guess I'm at a maintenance level. I wouldn't mind losing a few more pounds, but am at a healthy weight now and don't feel the need to restrict my eating any further. I think if I do lose more, it will be primarily from increasing my activity level. I have great restriction right now, and am always monitoring it closely to make sure I am staying properly fueled for exercise. I am not ruling out getting a slight unfill in the future; if I get below my ultimate goal of 125 lbs., that's probably the route I'll take.
