seems like this is taking forever, I have been to the pre opp class, and next week I return to the dietition for my last check in I have yet to see the Dr. am looking forward to that.

After the pre op class, getting a little scared, it was memtioned that if I had not had my gallbladder taken out they woud do it while they were in there, now what if I do not want it taken out? do I have a choice?

I really just wish the whole thing was over.

husband is in the hospital, think that I might have to change a date if they give me one that is to soon, have to get him better before I can have him help me. Oh well time will tell.

Yes, you have a choice regarding your gallbladder. They cannot take anything out without permission, unless it is a very unusual dire emergency.. such as a life-threatening situation. A normal gallbladder doesn't qualify as life threatening.
