Hernia

Good Afternoon all, I was just seeing if anybody else out there has gotten an hiatal hernia post surgery? I did about 2 months ago and is has become more and more painful.....I am scheduled to have the surgery Next Thursday but the doc says it is much more painful than the band surgery. Anybody have any expertise on the subject?

I had mine repaired when they placed the band. I didnt even know i had one till after surgery. It is painful. I had a friend who had her band placed a week before me and she had minimal pain, i on the other hand have been having alot of pain, which i blame on th ehernia repair. Its not intolerable tho and managable with the pain meds. The gas issue has caused me morepain than anything else! Good luck it will be fine !!
