Less restriction with more fill?

I received another fill a week and a half ago, up .2cc's. It's strange, but I feel like I have LESS restriction now than I had before. I've NEVER felt additional restriction with the new fill. Anyone else experienced the same thing?

I have had that happen as well. Have you lost any weight since your last fill? My doc explained that this phenomenon sometimes occurs when your body chooses to lose the fat specifically located around the stomach/band area. This in turn can cause a 'loosening' effect of the band.

I actually posted the same thing after my last fill. I had a fill of .75ml and felt less restriction than ever before, and it has happened with most of my other fills. I have now worked out that my fills take 3 weeks to kick in.

Oh yeah!!! I phoned my surgeon the next day VERY concerned. My second fill was 6 weeks post op and he thought it was a 'timing' thing with healing kicking in and having a fill at the same time *sigh*

I was also told my some looooong term banders on another forum that this is normal. So, another fill Wednesday and we'll see what happens.

In the meantime I'm able to eat most things and well....making the most of it lol.

Thanks everyone. I suppose I'll just wait and see if this ever decides to kick in. Why does it sometimes take time to kick in for some people, though?
