First Month Results

I was banded exactly one month ago. Have to say, Im too excited about my results so far. Have lost 31 pounds, 4 inches off of my waist. The most important stat, though, is my blood sugar. It was 251 on surgery day, and now my average is about 105. I should be off the diabetes medication real soon. Thanks to the Lord Jesus for this surgery and for the strength He has given me.

Hello!!

That is fantastic news all the way around...I am brand new to this journey...in the midst of all the tests prior to surgery...today had my pulmonary function test and tomorrow morning I have an Ultra Sound of my gall bladder scheduled.

You are certainly on your way...CONGRATULATIONS to a new way of life. While I am apprehensive...I am also very excited...I just want to get it over with :)
