Eating more lately

I was banded July 20th. I have noticed lately , the last two days, that I can eat more lately. I read that overeating can cause slippage. Is this from prolonged overeating? I have not had my first fill yet.I have lost about 19lbs. so far.

If you haven't had a fill yet, your band is loose and you don't have to worry as much about overeating causing slippage. Of course I am not saying that you can go crazy with eating. It is when you get fills and are really restricting the flow of food from your pouch that overeating can cause slippage or doing so long-term can cause your pouch to stretch.

Follow the rules...eat the right foods, chew small bites well, eat slowly and stop when you feel full and you should have no worries.
