Hi all my name is Julie, I am having my lap band next week and was wondering do they put any fill in

the band during the surgery or do you have to wait? Dr. De Bruyne Christiaan will being doing the

surgery

My doc says you get the first fill at 6 weeks. Until then, it's all about healing. You will still feel some restriction just from the band itself and will prob lose weight even without the fill, maybe just not as much. At least that's what I've been told!
