I was hungry on day 3 post banding. Plus, I had horrible diarrhea from the clear liquids only, and was very weak. I added 4 oz of smooth yogurt, once a day for a couple of days, and then twice a day. It made all the difference in how I felt. I used low-fat or full fat smooth yogurt--no chunks of fruit in it. I did a lot of research and saw that some lapbanders in England were allowed yogurt from the beginning of being banded, so I figured it was OK. You might want to check with your MD and see if that would be OK for you. Just a thought.
