I understand that this is a long shot, but has anyone had/heard of anyone who had a Lap-band done in Russia? I live in Canada, but I am originally from Russia and have family there, so this is a very viable option for me , as language barrier is not a concern, the cost is much less, and I'd have relatives helping me out through the post-op period. I've located a clinic that performs these surgeries, but I'm hoping that I could find someone who can share their experience.

I am not planing to do surgery in Russia, but someone contacted me on this site who did. They saw that I was born there by my nickname :-)
