Please help I have just started thinking about the surgery and I am scared i won't get approved by insurance. 280lbs and I have been heavy all my life the last time i was thin i was 7 yrs old. Is it that hard to get approved

You have to keep fighitng. I did. YOu can't stop because thats what they want. USe a lawyer or not, but don't stop. I didn't. And dont trust them either, I did on the phone and they told me sure not problem and then boom denied. Mr. viscio appealed for me and we won, but I'll tell you, the fight is a pain in the butt and not something we need on our heads. Good luck.

Every insurance situation is different. You have to look at YOUR policy, YOUR medical situation, and see what is needed and whether you can meet the requirements. Some people have no trouble and others have to fight. It's certainly worth engaging in it; you will NEVER know if it's going to happen for you if you don't try.
