Pre-op questions, Dr. Cywes

I am a patient of Dr. Cywes in Jacksonville. Anyone out there that has been banded by this doctor? Does he put you on a pre-op diet? If so, what kind. I was on a 3month physician supervised weight loss and lost a total of 16 pounds. I am now 2 days away from what they call the 2nd Dr. appt. From my understanding, this is the part where the doctor talks to a group about the surgery. Then someone comes in a talks about diet and prep for surgery and the diet after surgery. Then the final person comes in and talks about finances/insurance. I have Aetna PPO and I am really hoping I get approved very quickly. I haven't been able to locate very many people on this site that have Aetna. Any guidance that anyone can give me would be greatly appreciates. rolleyes.gif
