recent surgery/complications??

What are the signs if band is slipping, I had surgery about 1 1/2 weeks ago and i am still having lots of pain around my stomach and my stomach feels swollen

totally normal. as long as you are following the diet.....depending on the doc should be full liquids or softs at this point, then it is very hard slip the band. The reason for the diet is to avoid any vomiting which can cause slipage int he early phase (less then 3 weeks post op) I am 5 weeks out and I still get some stomach pain. It took about 3.5 weeks before I felt almost normal. Plus there is the learning curve about eating and drinking slowly. This caused me lots of gas a couple weeks post op, but after I figured it out and slowed down it was much better. Good luck and if you are worried then call the doctor>>>>>>>>>. thats what we paid them for :)
