I live in Oakdale, I was banded by Dr, Rumbaut in monterrey Mexico on October 27th. I am also looking fo a support group in the modesto area. If you find anything please let me know.

I hear that on the CSU campus there is a group for all WLS, most are RNY's but I plan on being one of the first lapbanders...lol. I will get my lapband done by Dr. Aceves in Mexico. I was wondering perhaps we can meet sometime and we can talk together. I'd like to meet someone close by that has had the lapband, most people with WLS have had RNY. I would love to meet you! It would be nice to know someone close to home that is going through the same things I am. I had a wounderful experience in Mexico and the support group would be great! I know how you feel about most WLS support groups catering to the RNY patients. I have run into that alot also.
