Hi all I am having my first fill tomorrow. I am excited although I know that I will probably not get restriction the first couple fills. I am ust excited to be moving in the right direction!! My doctor does all of his fills under fluoroscopy so I am not nervous at all about the fill.

My question is this. They have not really told me about my restrictions with my diet after the fill. I was told not to eat or drink anything after 9am(my fill is at 1:30) but they did not tell me anything aout after the fill. Do I need to do Clear liquids, just liquids, mushies or what?? What were your rules??

Each practice is different (I know you hear that all the time on these boards, but..). Plan to be on liquids, so have Protein drinks with you for the day; that seems to be the most common. Congratulations, even if you are one of the lucky ones who has lost weight during the recovery phase - you are progress from the recovering phase to the weight loss (transforming phase)!

My doctor always tells me to do clear liquids for 48 hours after a fill.

I get a fill on Tuesday and I can't wait! I don't have enough restriction and it stinks. :-)
