Are these side effects??

So......two things have showed up in the last week.

1. My throat is soooooo dry. I thought I was getting sick but I haven't but I feel like I have sand paper in my throat. No matter how much I drink--I can't get moist back there. It isn't acid like---is this something I should worry about??

2. My DH told me yesterday I sometimes have bad breath. We have been together for 11 years so this is a new thing since the band. Is there anything I can do for that?

Your new eatting habbits will evvect your breath. But I sugest you get a tounge scraper. And maybe a dental Water pic.

What kind of foods are you eatting? more spice then before? lots of Protein shakes? more garlic?

As for the dry mouth. It could also be a dental thing. plaque will make your mouth and throat feel really dry.

What does your breath smell like? You might be having gum issues and need to see your dentist.

the dry mouth is probably slight dehydration.

the bad breath is probably because you are in ketosis. :cursing:
