How do I stop losing weight?

Never thought I would be asking THIS question!

For those at goal, how did you stop losing weight? I have not had a fill in 8 months and am still tight...still have problems (sometimes!)eating...no rhyme or reason to it! I am losing a consistant 1.5-2.5lbs per week, and have lost about 92lbs...I am about 10 lbs away from goal, but dont see my weight loss slowing down at all, and I am just curious how everyone has moved successfully into the maintenance stage.

Thanks so much for any info you can provide!

Well, I think I would schedule an appointment for about a month from now because at the rate you say you're losing, you should be "there" then (CONGRATULATIONS!!!) and ask them what to do next....a slight unfill? different eating, such as a snack every day? They are the experts.

Well, the obvious answer is an unfill. If you get to the point where you dont want to lose more and you are still having occasional eating problems, why keep all the fill there?

personally, I didnt need to. My weight loss slowed and slowed over time, and eventually just petered out, at the same time as my fill level over a year or so kind of lessened a bit naturally. the result was weight loss stopping, right at my goal weight, by some strange coincidence.

Thanks Jachut...how awesome that you stopped losing right at your goal. I know that an unfill is an option, I guess I just wanted to know if that is how most people handle their maintenance...I havent heard too many people talk about what the maintenance phase has been like, and if you get an unfill, do you risk starting to gain,

Thanks again-
