I havent lost a single pound since Ive had the surgery I havent been able to exercise due to a foot injury but I will be able to start back up soon. I've had 2 fills so far. I dont feel full but food gets stuck a few times a week, usually bread. Does that mean Im not chewing enough or my band is too tight? If it was too tight I wouldnt be hungry all the time. Im just disappointed Does drinking a lot of water make a big difference? I dont usually drink, it's so blah!

Right now I'm 5'2 and 222 pounds (40.6 bmi) However, I did not always weigh this much. This is actually my highest weight. Over the past 5 years I have weighed between 160-220. I gained most of the weight during my pregnancy a year ago. My weight has always gone up and down but stayed pretty steady at 185. Is there a good chance I will be denied because I was not always 35+ bmi? I really dont want to pay $500 for my psych eval if they are not gonna approve me. Any thoughts? Thanks

What insurance do you have? I have aetna. Im looikng to get it done in June. I'm going to Disney at the end of May and Idk how good would be for me to get it done a few weeks before Disney. Can you PM me a list of the things he wants done? I wonder if I get any of them done already. Thanks

Oh I hope that's the same for me! So are you doing the 3 mo program? I read somewhere that there is a free for the fit mart and other program that he requires you to go to. I read it used to be $1700 but is now $300? I have my appointment in 3 weeks. How far along are you in the process?

Hi guys/gals! I just found this site the other day and I've learned a lot from it. I have a few questions for ya. I'm at 211 lbs now. I had my daughter 9 months ago (was 252 at 9 mo, I gained 95 lbs during pregnancy) and before I got pregnant I was down to 160. I was taking phentermine for approx 8 months before getting pregnant and I did lose weight. However, that does not work for me anymore. So my question is... am I wasting my time even trying to get this approved? Ive been overweight my entore adult life but besides being 9 mo pregnant I was never at 40. Do they look for you to be at 40 for 2 years? How do they track your weight? I mean I dont even know how much I weighed 2 years ago. If I have to self pay, I will have to take a loan out and it will be tough to pay back (Im a social worker) but I will be able to do it. So is it worth it? P.S I have Aetna insurance. Thanks so much! Are you expected to lose weight on the 3 mo diet? Who weighs you, PCP or surgeon?

You got approved before the 90 days? Did you not have to do the 90 day diet? thanks
