  1. :redface:I was banded in May and have no problem with popcorn. Best to make your own or try Trader Joes which doesn't have all of the chemicals that other microwave brands do.
  2. MY doctor also told me to use olive oil shampoo and take fish oil. He thinks it is also due to the fact that I don't eat much fat at all. I too have very think hair!
  3. I am four months post banding and have been losing my hair by the handful the last few weeks. I had a fill yesterday and my doctor said I need to take Biotin supplements. I have lost 34 lbs since my banding on May 26th!
  4. Congratulations to you and your amazing weight loss! You look amazing! It's never too late to make a change in your life. Best wishes, Alysia
  5. Good Luck! I just joined this group too and home to draw strength and give support to others. I was banded in late May and have lost 34 lbs so far.. it has been much easier than I expected but the weight loss has slowed substantially over the last 2 months. Eat very small meals and chew very well! Exercise a minimum of 4-6 days a week. I wish you great success!
  6. I was banded in May and lost 24 lbs within the first few weeks. Since then I have had 3 fills and my band is at 5cc's. I go down a few pounds then back up a few, even with exercising 4-5 days a week. I am at a total of 32 lbs at 4 months post op and frustrated too that I am not losing more quickly. I find that if I eat a bit more, I actually lose. So....I think sometimes your body goes into starvation mode when you eat too little. I have a hard time with eating Protein, seems to get stuck.
