A tired to get the band in 2006 and before I was given a surgery date, my insurance decided that they stopped paying for bariatric surgery a month prior to me starting my process. So I had to wait until I had an insurance that covered me. After 4 long years, I have gone through the whole process again and have been approved for surgery. October 7, 2010 is my date. It has been a long road, but am looking forward to the beginning a new healthier life.
