  1. I was banded on the 7th, and am doing very well. Everyday I get alittle better. No longer on pain meds, still sleeping slightly elevated so I don't get stuck in bed and hating the liquid diet. I drink so much I feel full all the time, but I am getting in all my fluids and protein. Counting the days until I can go to pureed then soft diet. Hope everyone else is doing just as good. Good luck to you that are still waiting
  2. Hey guys, have my surgery date for Oct. 7th. I have already started my pre-op diet.:rolleyes2: It's interesting to see how different doctors have different post-op diets. My doctor has me 2 weeks liquid, 2 weeks pureed, 2 weeks soft foods then regular diet. As far as protein drinks go, I have found one that has 24 grams of protein per scoop and tastes really good. Optimum Nutrition 100% Natural Whey in Chocolate. I have been drinking it now for about a week with skim milk; tastes just like chocolate milk.
