I am considering lapband surgery to finally deal with my yo yo dieting and weight problem. 7 years later I am having revision surgery from lapband to MGB.. I weigh 2 lbs more than when I had the band put in. I never felt I 'got' the satiety feeling. spent 4 years going through fills and unfills to the point I suffered from chronic heartburn,GERD  on medication daily and basically could only eat soft slider food. Mostly crap that tasted good.  Decided to finally have the band completely unfilled last week- It's amazing - no heartburn, I can eat and don't get stuck or have to bring up food.  BUT I know that I will end up binge eating and consuming too much sugar.  I should be able to loss weight without a revision but I know myself, been fighting weight for my whole adult life and I need the MBG to get healthy at this point
