Yes just a date.. I just don't want to have to hurt anyone's feelings. He seems to b very vulnerable right now. ..n he is a good fella just really not the one for me at this point. Everything is so new on this journey for me..I want it to work n I want to be a much healthier and active version. Lol

Ok question. ..I'm at 10 weeks out and I ran into a serious blast from the past. He is divorced now so he has asked me out. I would like to go but there r 2 things..1. He smokes (I use too but no longer) 2. He is not physically active n I'm trying to make that a part ofy lifestyle now. I know that if I did go out it would just b on the fun level. I'm not physically attracted to him.. so booty call is not an option...lol. do u think it would b unfair to go out with him knowing how I really feel ..

I'm 10 weeks post-op and I'm still trying to get a grip on the proper way to eat. I have lost 40 pds but seem to be stuck. I find I can easily get in 1000 calories a day. Then I exercise bringing my net to about 750 to 800 a day. Can someone give me some ideas of ur menus for the day eating low carb. Also if u eat low carb do u worry about calories?

I had Dr. Illan and went through susan and Omar at mysurgeryoptions. Com. I had a fantastic experience. I had surgery the 12th of august no pain nothing it was like a mini vacation. I was lui cky to get a special but I believe he is only 4700. I have went from a size 18/20 to a 14 n pants n a large n tops. I am off all diabetes medicine. ..loving my sleeve.

Diddo to what several people have said. Live ur life dream big and step outside the box. Do not waste precious time on something that is not right for u.

This is a very inspiring topic. I am trying to enter the dating world again at 49...lol I know he is out there ..lol some really great advice for the online thing.

Im most definitely apple shaped being huge busted always have hated it. I have the thin legs n no behind..lol flat ass..lol. when I was younger I had the 36d cup wearing size 5 jeans..lol I think I looked athletic more so than shapely. I know when I get to goal I am doing the girls for sure..lol. lifting reducing...whatever it takes.

Thanks all its just a little freaky. I know when I eat dense meats like chicken breast from baked chicken. I can only take few bites. I'm eating all protein except for a banana now n then. I want so much for this to work..lol I know everyone feels that way.

Probably pmsn Julie. .is what happened to me but I hear of folks not being able to eat 3oz at months out. I'm wondering if maybe my sleeve is too large. .lol

I am going into 6 weeks out I can eat 3/4 cup homemade chili...I can eat 2.8 ounces of tuna with lite mayo along with 10 thin triscuts. I have been tracking and I'm averaging about 600 to 700 calories a day. I can even eat a whole pro choice protein bar with no problem. I haven't lost weight n a week as a matter fact I gained 3pounds. I get most my water in at least 50 oz a day. I do good on protein most days anywhere to 45 to 80 but that day was a 1000 calorie day..

I was sleeved by Dr. ILLAN on August 12th . I have not had any pain or discomfort. I have had a tremendous amount of energy. I am down 30 pounds and am off all my diabetes medicine. I was just thinking today that for the last 20 yrs I have been living a life less than. Well for the next 20 I am going to follow my dreams. .better late than never. Dr. Illan and Omar do take wonderful care of u. I am so glad I went with him as my surgeon.

We crossed back with drivers license and birthcertificates. I believe he needs his birth certificate to prove his citizenship. Drivers license will not prove that... I would get with my coordinators and see...I have no idea what the consequences would b.

I absolutely agree with Sherri. I trusted Omar with my child...who is 16. She loved him and he took excellent care of me too. The Dr anf nurses were very attentive. Pm me..I can talk to u personally to u if u have questions. If ur interested in Dr Illan he will Skype with and ur husband Omar can set that up as well. Let me see if I can find his email for u.

Oops forgot to say I have been smoke free going on 5 weeks. I have more energy than I have had in years. I feel fantastic. I walk 2 miles every day at 3:30AM in the morning and I work 6am to 6pm. So yes I'm enjoying my new life....lol

Poster everything u are experiencing I believe we all did. I went back and forth in my mind for days even after I had booked my flight..lol heck I even thought about canceling the surgery and going to vegas instead..lol. even when I was there laying in the hospital bed with those fricken ugly stockings on my legs and them telling me to take my panties I was thinking..."uh I don't really know if u can do this".. then I turned and looked at my 16yr old daughter who is my lifes blood. I saw how beautiful she was and I thought of my last physical test results..see I'm type 2 diabetic and for 9 yrs its been out of control. I was loosing feeling in my hands and feet. My a1c was an 11. I smoked like a chimney and I ate like a pig ...drank like a fish from time to time all in the name of selfloathing, pity, shame , heartbreak all the reasons we become obese....think of one it was probably mine..lol. My doctor told me if I didn't change something I was going to die very soon.. I was a walking heartattack waiting to happen. So u see when I was laying there looking at my daughter I knew...if I do this I MAY die from complications. .. but I knew if I DIDN'T I was surely going to die most likely of a heart attack. I really had no choice. I wanted to b around to see my grandbabies one day..lol. all 8 of them..she wants a big family ..4 of her own and to adopt 4... lol. So I have got a full future ahead of me. My surgery was easy no pain really no gas issues Omar and Dr. ILLAN took wonderful care of me and mine. It was really like a mini vacation. If I have plastics ..I know I'm doing the boobs..lol I'm going with whoever Omar and Dr Illan recommend. I'm at 3.5 weeks out and have lost 26 pounds. .probably a slow loser but a loser non the less.. I'm off ALL diabetes medicine. This surgery had literally saved my life... any questions just ask. You will b very well taken care of. The hospital is nice and clean. It is a holistic healing center. The cafeteria is all organic and vegan. Your care will b be very good. Not a lot of English but the point gets across. Omar ur patient coordinator is absolutely awesome he will take primo care of you. The hotel is beautiful. Dr. Illan will answer any of ur questions. You will b checked on by a Dr. While u r n the hotel. I can not say anything bad about my experience. It was really like a mini vacation ...except with major surgery. ..lol

Thank you everyone and yes I have walked around all day with this silly grin on my face. It is definitely an awesome feeling. I know I will always have to watch it and yes I will continue to test also doing my A1C check. It is a small price to pay though. Peace and Blessings everyone.
