i was banded on the 13th of this month i have the same but you can tell mine has healed alot. i would think its just the healing. if it doesn't have pus around it.

when i went in for my pre op. i wasn't told i had a hernia i found out when i woke up i had a big hernia which didn't surprise me i was born with a hernia above my hip when i was 3 i had to have surgery and there is a 50/50 chase you get another one. i dont know what a endoscopy is. i know i had blood tests, ekg, and a ex ray. that was all

how about eggs with cheese and some green chilies or a splash of hot sauce?

im with you i am one liquid diet just shakes and soup but i find myself still starving. maybe add some more protein. that might stop u from being so hungry.

i have lived here 4 years had some friends that have stabbed me in the back so i let them loose. I would like to have some good friends i tried on the form no one answers. i thought maybe ill put it here see if anyone answers. maybe we can be walking buddies or just friends to talk its cool. my husband is going back to Iraq next year for his 4th tour. I need some friends. :rolleyes2:

thanks just amazed how much stuff cost in GNC wow. i pick up the muscle milk light. wow. i walked a hour at the mall i feel good just tired and read for some rest. i, too had a big hital hernia he had to fix and he also said i had a large stomach maybe that is why i never in my life had that full feeling.

i know its just been a week and a couple of days since my surgery. i have decided to get off my ass and go walk the mall get some exercise i feel like i am getting lazy and bloated. i am lactose intolerant and i forgot to get pills so all these shakes are killing me and the cream soups.

of course i dont want that i am just so excited to lose the weight and when i call my docs office i get that sigh sound from the people that answer the phone makes me feel ilike i call too much. i just wanted a estimate on time.

Come on help me out guys i dont want to have to call my doc and bug him with another question

When did your doctor allow you to start cardio. i am going nuts here i dont want to walk anymore but its only been a week. i want to ride my excercise bike. grrrr. my next appointment is next wednesday. i cant lift over 10 pounds until i cant remember when i forgot.

omg i had this nightmare. this is my nightmare.i was laying in bed and turned to my side and heard a popping noise. next thing i saw was part of the band sticking out the hole that hasn't healed. i started screaming for my husband to come and see what happened. then i asked if we should go to the emergency room. then in real life my husband called on my cell and it woke me out of that dream omg it seemed so real. have any of your guys had scarey nightmares like this.:thumbup:

i meant if you can loses inches without showing on the scale you lose lbs.

I am a obsessed scale person two and when the scale shows me higher i kick it. i want to buy a new one. i weigh myself 3 times or more a day.

I heard both sides.. Can you lose inches of your body without it showing you lost weight in lbs. sorry i was unclear i just woke up

Do not make yourself vomit that is bad

yeah dont take any medications without consulting your doc first so wait on the gas-x

i got the band last monday i didnt have the water problem but i did and still have gas issuse. for the gas issuse just make sure you are up and walking. it helps alot

i was banded on the 13th i had the opposite and used activa to help me.

i am not a person that deals with surgery pain. i have about 10 tattoos and i am fine with that pain. in the stomach area is just horrid for me. i am glad now i am better but i cant sleep on my side or tummy. i get headaches every night. thank god the lortab knocks me out.

what excercises can i do with out hurting myself. i am still a little sore and want to do more then walk

OK SO I CAN SEE MINE WILL TOP EVERYONES SO FAR.. here it goes... I was getting ready to be wheeled into the surgery room but they wanted me to go to the bathroom first. well, i did no problem. when i stood up i thought i had to fart well boy was i wrong lol i pooed down on the floor. i hurryed and cleaned it up not know that i left some on my socks. when i woke up my husband told me i had poop on my socks. so through the whole surgery there i was lying there with poop on my socks and later to find out the back of my leg ewwww. i will never forget that. its ok i can laugh about it and you can too ha ha ha:biggrin::thumbup::thumbup::tt1: i forgot to add that i was eating activa everyday to make sure i pooped ok. a word of advice becareful when you eat that. non stop pooing lol
