  1. I am 2 months banded with about 2 cc in my 10cc band and I had a 1/2 of cheeseburger from cracker barrel last week. I only ate it with the lower bun and with a fork and knife so I could cut very small pieces and chew, chew, chew, chew and then I chewed some more...LOL. I digested well and I didn't have any problems afterwards. Good luck
  2. I have to agree that was harsh. We have all fallen but what matters is that we get back up, dust ourselves off and keep pushing. We have all made bad food choices, but the most important thing is that you recognize it and work at not making the same mistakes in the future. Keep pushing forward...
  3. I too hurt badly the first week of my surgery, I couldn't even take a deep breath with out being in horrible pain. I slept for 3 days straight. I had my surgery on August 24th and didn't really start feeling myself untill over a week later. I was lucky, my Dr put me out for 2 weeks and I am soo greatful because I was in too much pain to go back to work after one week. When I complained of the pain he told me I could use liquid motrin between my doses of vicodin. Please make sure you are walking as much as you can and drinking the Water. I did get dehydrated but not bad enough to go to the emergency room. Good luck and as soon as this period is over it gets easier...I promise. =)
  4. I was the same way, I didn't start getting hunger pains till almost week 3. But you have to make sure you are getting protein and staying hydrated.
  5. Ok so I don't feel so bad about my chest/shoulder pain. Thanks to everyone for clearing that up. I had my Lap Band surgery on 8/24 and I woke up thinking I was gonna die because of the pain in my shoulders and chest. Over the course of the first week I slept for three days because of the pain. But now I'm feeling better and when I get the sudden rush of pain usually I can burp and feel much better. This has been such an amazing journey, it's hard to describe without crying..LOL
