  1. These posts have been so helpful... I thought it was weird that over time I would become too full (w/o a band adjustment) but according to some of you, that's what was happening. I have felt miserable for two weeks. I have an appointment tomorrow and I hope they take something out.
  2. Congrats to you, but I am also glad to see your post. I was banded 8/4/10 and I was getting a wee bit discouraged this week about the "loss" part. I am looking forward to a fill and perhaps see additional progress as well. I also appreciate the comment about understanding the food rules and working that all out. I feel like its a full time job right now, but I see most of my family reaping the benefits of better, healthier eating- habits included. Thanks everyone.
  3. Greetings. I had my surgery on 8/4 and am doing well. There is just so much info out there and adjustments to be made. Had a semi-stressed day for the first time since the surgery. Look forward to my first fill so I can again feel confident that this is working for me. I have not had any complications but I feel like the band may not be working (I read some other posts as well, so maybe it's just because I have not had any fills yet). Mostly, my biggest struggle is drinking and eating. It's my hardest habit to break! And I am SO thirsty! That's it for now. Will read more posts as time permits.
