  1. So glad you posted your frustrations! I'm stuck, too. Had surgery in October 2010, and have lost 47 lbs - and then I hit a wall. All of the replies have helped me get things back in perspective and move on!
  2. Congratulations!! Reading your post was the inspiration I needed today. After losing 30 lbs since October 27, I've fallen off the wagon. Haven't gained anything, but I haven't been working the band like I should. I'm hitting the reset button tomorrow and getting down to business.
  3. I'm sorry you're feeling so bad. I would contact the surgeon and request something a little more powerful for the pain. My surgeon prescribed liquid Vicodin for me, and I'm so glad he did. (I had surgery on 10/27/10). I had quite a bit of pain the first few days, and even began to regret having the procedure. Of course, 2 and half months down the road, I'm feeling great and have lost 30 lbs. Hang in there!!
  4. That is great!! Thanks for the inspiration.
  5. I know what you mean. I don't know why, but today I fell off of the wagon. I had 1000 calories, but later in the evening our neighbors came over and I had chips and salsa - a lot of chips and salsa, so I know I am well over my 1000 cal limit. I have my first post-op appointment on 11/15. Can't wait to start having some restriction!
  6. I had the lap band on 10/27. Like you, I have been very emotional. I think in some strange way, I'm mourning the role food played in my life. I haven't cried, but I've been irritable at times. I know it will get better!!
