  1. I have an 11 cc band and my surgery was August 18, 2010. I too have only lost about 16 pounds and I have had two fills and am still so hungry that I could basically eat almost as much as I used to. I go for my next fill on November 22, so hopefully I will feel some more restriction then. I understand your frustration though. I try to watch what I am eating, but sometimes it is so hard..... Keep me posted about your next fill. I would really like to know how it goes. Good Luck! Jen:smile:

    Okay, so I am going on my 2nd week post op.... I hit a wall today... got really hungry and gave in to some not so healthy food choices... Ugh I feel awful.. I have been walking 30 minutes a day, but I am not see really any results.. Can anyone tell me how long it took them to really get the ball rolling with the weight loss??? I am just really upset and I need some words of encouragment. Thanks. :wub:
  5. I want to start walking and then eventually running... but I want to get one of those mile marker thingys that tells me how far I have gone.... the kind you wear on your wrist. Does anyone know how much they cost from cheapest to most expensive? I don't want to spend too much money, but I need something to help me. Also, I how long to you guys walk/run for. Should I do it for time or distance?? Thanks so much for your help. I am five days post op and really want to start on a healthy exercise regiment. :wub:
  6. Hi, there are lots of support groups at Orange Coast Medical Center off the 405 at Brookhurst in Orange County. Just go South on the exit and the hospital is on the right.. They have lots and lots of stuff for you. Support groups, dietician groups, everything!!! Good Luck!
