  1. I too had a hiatal hernia repair and I have been short of breath and I am having problems swallowing. Tomorow will be the beginning of week 4 for me.I feel like things get stuck and almost like I am being strangled from the inside. It is so uncomfortable. I hope this improves soon.
  2. Don't be so hard on yourself. We all have alot of bad behaviors we have to unlearn it takes time
  3. Is the first week after the band hard? I have never been on an all liquid diet, do you feel satisfied with just protein shakes and clear soups? I have my surgery set up for end of the month and I a nervous about the first few weeks afterwards.
  4. I am about to schedule my consult with Dr. Webber at Great Lakes Weight Loss in Detroit for lap band surgery. I would like to get some info from other people about their experience. Especially if they had any complications after surgery. This is a very big concern for me as I am a self pay. I do have health insurance but it does not cover any type of weightloss surgery.
  5. May I ask what your cost was for the self pay? And what doctor you saw in Chicago? Thanks!!
